The current tapping screws, with external tooth lock washers, were coming loose resulting in a faulty ground connection.
TAPTITE 2000® screws were driven into the existing punch extruded holes. The external tooth lock washer was replaced by a hex flange head with serrations in the bearing surface.
The vibrational loosening problems were solved and costs were reduced by eliminating the external tooth lock washer parts.
